Poster Design | Typography
Invited by Northern Design Festival to collaborate with F37 Foundry, I created a poster for their 2026 festival exploring the theme of ‘Heritage’. The project centred around F37 Lancer, a typeface developed for the festival, using the typeface as both a visual and conceptual starting point for interpreting heritage.
The poster celebrates the Garland King, a traditional folklore celebration from Castleton in the Peak District. Taking the asterisk from F37 Lancer, I reinterpreted its form to reflect the flowers worn as part of the Garland King tradition, creating a visual connection between the typeface and the heritage it represents.
